It is of especially important significance in clinic application to monitor anesthetic gascontent of patient's breath during anesthetic processing. According to the detected result, theanesthetist can adjust the input anesthetic gas content to patient for safety, therefore avoidendangering patient's life because of too much or too little anesthetic gas. The anesthetic gastesting device, based on infrared absorption gas detection principle, is a common clinicalinstrument. However, the relative research is absence in this field in our country. Anesthetic gasconcentration testing modules applied in native medical monitor products almost rely on import .They cost highly, and being limited in popular. It is necessary and urgent to develop a nativeanesthetic gas concentration testing device. In this paper, the following are conducted:configuration design of mini anesthetic gas concentration sensor, circuit design and softwaredesign of anesthetic gas main controller and algorithm analysis on the relationship betweeninfrared intensity and anesthetic gas concentration.Based on this research, a medical anesthetic gas concentration detection device is realized inthis work. Patient's exhale sample is obtained by a mini sensor of anesthetic gas concentrationwhich is based on infrared absorption gas detection principle, signal amplification circuit andside-stream style gas-sample. Data collection and procession was completed by a signalprocessing system centered by the 32-bit microprocessor. The result can be displayed constantly inmain computer. It can monitor the anesthetic gas concentration in patient's breath, non-invasivelyand continuously.After improved and clinical testing, the device can be used in gas measurement in criticalpatient monitoring and anesthesia surgery, also breath monitor for infant.Simple structure, high accuracy, long life, wide application and high cost performance makethis device have highly application value.
