Objective To research different bilioenterostomy on bile duct reoperation. Analyzed the reasons of reoperation and the characteristics on clinical application, Contrasted long-term results. Methods To collect the clinical records of reoperation on bile duct in Tianjin Nankai's Hospital from 1990.1 to 2005.12, Retrospective analyzed the cases adopted bilioenterostomy in reoperation. Results In 16 years, there are 1689 cases of bile duct reoperation to be treated in Nankai's Hospital. Among the total, there are 1161 cases adopted bilioenterostomy in reoperation. The reasons of reoperation contained: Calculus of bile duct Bile duct stricture Infection of biliary tract Periampullary carcinoma/Cholangiocarcinoma Cyst of bile duct et al. The methods of operation included: Choledochoduodenostomy Choledochojejunostomy Oddi'sphincteroplasty EST(endoscopic sphincterotomy). Conclusion The common duct stones and the strictures of Oddi'sphincter are chief reasons in reoperation to adopt bilioenterostomy. The chief modus operandi is EST. Choledochojejunostomy have the most extensived indications, it was be used in reoperation to correct the complication of primary operation. The long-term results of Choledochojejunostomy ismuch better. The important factor to decrease reoperation is to degrade recurrent stones further.
