To discuss the base of molecule biology of spleen Qi deficiency syndrome. Methods:The rat model of spleen Qi deficiency syndrome was established by composite factors of overstrain and intemperance of taking food. The methods of xanthine oxidase and Southern blotting were used to determine the activity of superoxide dismutase and the length of telomere.Result:To compared with normal control, the activity of superoxide dismutase in liver of rat model with spleen Qi deficiency syndrome was lower and the length of telomere was shorten. Conclusion:Shortening of telomere may be one of pathomechanism of spleen Qi deficiency syndrome. The accumulation of free radical produced by the decrease of the antioxygen ability may be damage the telomere, and that may be one of the mechanisms of telomere shortening in liver of rat model with spleen Qi deficiency syndrome. | Keywords/Search Tags: | Spleen Qi deficiency syndrome, Superoxide dismutase, Telomere, Free radical | PDF Full Text Request | Related items |
