Objective: To explore the effects of Ericerus pela on health care function in normal mice.Methods: The effect of Ericerus pela on the anti-weary was investigated by loaned-swimming test. The effect of Ericerus pela on the survival time was observed by determining the survival time under normal pressure and hypoxia. The effect of Ericerus pela on the adaptive capacity of exercise tolerance was observed by determination of the BUN and GLU. The tests—the weight and index of immune organs,engulfing carbon granula test and T B lymphocyte transformation test of mouse spleen cell, were used to evaluate the influences of Ericerus pela on immunomodulation. The effect of Ericerus pela on the anti-mutation was taken by the erythrocyte micronucleus test.Results: the OD and HC50 value in high dosage treatment was higher than that of control group (P<0.01) and low dosage treatment(P<0.05); the ConA difference in T,B lymphocyte transformation test in high dosage treatment has obvious difference with control group (P<0.01) and low group(P<0.05);. The incidence rate of micronucleus in anti-mutation action test in high dosage treatment has obvious difference with control group (P<0.05).Conclusion: Ericerus pela can enhance the fluid immune ability to the special antigen body and increase the hemolysin (IgM) in the blood serum of sensitive mouse.Ericerus pela can also strengthen T lymphocyte proliferation capacity.
