Non-surgical Treatment Of Chronic Low Back Pain Research

This thesis is mainly composed by two parts: literature summary and clinical study.In the part of literature summary, the first section reviews and summarizes the cognition of Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) and Western Medicine (WM) to the chronic aching waists and legs and its diagnosis and differential diagnosis commonly in clinic. It mainly discusses the causes and pathogenesis described in the ancient books of TCM and the clinical differential diagnosis of WM. The causes and pathogenesis are regarded mostly by TCM that the aching waists and legs are most highly related to liver and kidney. There are many clinical methods of treatment and medicaments.The overall curative effects are remarkable,however it is still not good enough to the septic patients. The second section mainly discuesses the aspects of traditional medicine Chinese treatment, acupuncture treatment, pulling treatment, local drug injection treatment, and maneuver treatment etc., and summarizes the recent development of Traditional Chinese Medicine treatment to the chronic aching waists and legs.In the part of clinical study, it observes the clinical curative effects of oral Chinese patent medicine of anti-hyperosteogeny capsule to the chronic aching waists and legs with the deficiency of liver and kidney and blood stasis vessel obstruction syndrome. There are thirty samples of patients listed into the observation range who conform to the criteria of chronic aching waists and legs with the deficiency of liver and kidney and blood stasis vessel obstruction syndrome. They were supplied with the Chinese patent medicine of anti-hyperosteogeny capsule which has the oral curative effects of replenishing Liver and Kidney, promoting blood circulation and removing blood stasis, and dredging the collaterals to stop pain. After supplying enough courses of treatment, we observed the clinical symptoms of the patients. The result showed an overall treatment effectiveness of 93.33%. Among the 30 samples of patients who accepted the observation, there were 24 samples of patients who got remarkable improvement to the symptoms and the living qualities without obvious bad responses. The conclusion for the study is that the Chinese patent medicine of anti-hyperosteogeny capsule, when applied to the treatment of the chronic aching waists and legs with the deficiency of liver and kidney and blood stasis vessel obstruction syndrome, has obvious clinical curative effects, safe and without side effects. Therefore, it proves to be of theoretical evidence that the chronic aching waists and legs are mainly the deficiency of liver and kidney and mostly deficiency in origin and excess in superficiality.
