| Shashen Maidong Decoction(Glehnia and Ophiopogon Decoction)(SSMDT) is come from"Wen Bing Tiao Bian"(Detailed Analysis of Epidemic Febrile Diseases), which was written by Wu Jutong of the Qing Dynasty. It has the function of clearing the lung-stomach heat and nourishing the lung-stomach yin, moistening dryness and producing the body fluids. It mostly treat the pattern that pathogenic warm heat and dryness heat impairing the lung-stomach yin. It is composed of 7 herbal medicine: Shashen (glehnia), Maidong (ophiopogon), Yuzhu (solomon's seal), Huafen (trichosanthes root), Sangye (mulberry leaf), Biandou (lablab) and Gancao (licorice).
