Lung cancer is the most common malignant tumor in China, the 5-year survival rate of the patients was only 10 percent. About 70~80 percent of the patients accepted chemotherapy, but the side effect restrict the use of the anticarcinogen. Besides, the problem that how can we increase the response rate of chemotherapy, extend survival time, and improve qulity of life is still attacting much attention. The experiment descripted in this paper was made through researching on the immunity function of economy and the expression of the pcna gene of the Lung carcinoma mice which were cured with BanmaoJIU therapy and cisplatin chemotherapy, in order to explore the increasing curative effects and decreasing bad side effects oftianjiu in Lung carcinoma therapy.The experiment was made to study the decreasing bad side effect of the BanmaoJIU therapy on lung carcinoma mice which were given chemotherapy therapy through observing the feed quantity, weight and the whole body of the mice.The experiment was made to research on the hematopoietic disorder of Lewis lung carcinoma chemotherapy-therapy mice which were given BanmaoJIU therapy through measuring the hematocyte.The experiment was made to discuss the mechanism of increasing curative effect of Lewis lung carcinoma chemotherapy-therapy mice which were given BanmaoJIU therapy through measuring PCNA protein expression by immunohistochemical method.Conclusion was made by observing the change of all indexes of the mice after sticking the BanmaoJIU on shenshu acupoint and comparing the therapeutic groups with the normal group and model group.1. After the treatment, the mice of normal, model, BanmaoJIU-therapy group were weightier than those of chemotherapy-therapy, BanmaoJIU-chemotherapy-therapy group, while the mice of chemotherapy-therapy group were the lightest. Compared with the chemotherapy-therapy group and the BanmaoJIU-chemotherapy-therapy group respectively, the normal, model, BanmaoJIU-therapy group all had obvious difference, while there was statistic difference between chemotherapy-therapy group and the BanmaoJIU-chemotherapy-therapy group.The experimental results above show that the cisplatin chemotherapy result in some side-effects, such as body weight reduce, feed quantity decrease, but BanmaoJIU could reduce such side-effects.2. The feed quantity of the chemotherapy-therapy group and the BanmaoJIU-chemotherapy-therapy group began to decrease from the forth day, while the feed quantity of the later was more than that of the former.The expression of the PCNA protein of the four groups were measured after treatment. The statistic analysis show that the expression of the protein of the PCNA gene, which had statistic difference compared with the model group, in the BanmaoJIU -chemotherapy-therapy group was the least. That means BanmaoJIU-chemotherapy-therapy could decrease the expression of the protein of the PCNA gene in the Lewis lung carcinoma mice. Enhancing the effects of chemotherapy-therapy by BanmaoJIU -therapy was verificated from the gene level.
