The incidence of lung carcinoma is high in China, the 5-year survival rate of thepatients was only 10 percent. About 70-80 percent of the patients acceptedchemotherapy, but the bad side effect due to the narrowness of the therapeutic indexof anticarcinogen restrict the use of the anticarcinogen. More and more attentionswere focused on preventing the chemotherapy side effect. The experiment descriptedin this paper was made through researching on the immunity function of economy andthe expression of the nm23 gene of the Lung carcinoma mice which were cured withtianjiu therapy and cisplatin chemotherapy, in order to explore the increasing curativeeffects and decreasing bad side effects of tianjiu in Lung carcinoma therapy. The experiment was made to study the decreasing bad side effect of the tianjiutherapy on lung carcinoma mice which were given chemotherapy therapy throughobserving the feed quantity, weight and the whole body of the mice. The experiment was made to research on the effects of immunity of Lewis lungcarcinoma chemotherapy-therapy mice which were given tianjiu therapy throughmeasuring the activity of spleen natural kill cell of the mice with MTT, measuring thelevel of serum IL-2 of the mice with radiation immunity analysis technique. The experiment was made to discuss the mechanism of increasing curative effectof Lewis lung carcinoma chemotherapy-therapy mice which were given tianjiutherapy through measuring protein and mRNA expression of nm23-M1 the micethrough immunohistochemical method and real-time fluorescence quantitativeReverse Transcription-Polymerase Chain Reaction (RT-PCR). Conclusion was made by observing the change of all indexes of the mice aftersticking the tianjiu on shenshu acupoint and comparing the therapeutic groups withthe normal group and model group. 1. After the treatment, the mice of normal, model, tianjiu-therapy group wereweightier than those of chemotherapy-therapy, tianjiu-chemotherapy-therapy group,while the mice of chemotherapy-therapy group were the lightest. Compared with thechemotherapy-therapy group and the tianjiu-chemotherapy-therapy group respectively,the normal, model, tianjiu-therapy group all had obvious difference, while there wasstatistic difference between chemotherapy-therapy group and thetianjiu-chemotherapy-therapy group. The feed quantity of the chemotherapy-therapygroup and the tianjiu-chemotherapy-therapy group began to decrease from the forthday, while the feed quantity of the later was more than that of the former. The experimental results above shew that the cisplatin chemotherapy result insome side-effects, such as body weight reduce, feed quantity decrease, but tianjiucould reduce such side-effects. 2. The analysis of the tumour weight and the inhibition rario shew that,compared with the model group, the three therapeutic groups including thetianjiu-therapy group, chemotherapy-therapy group, tianjiu-chemotherapy-therapygroup all had statistic difference. The tumour weight of theianjiu-chemotherapy-therapy group is the lightest, and that of chemotherapy-therapygroup is the next lightest, that of the tianjiu-therapy group is the next weightest, thatof the model group is the most weightest. The comparison of the tumour weight shewthat the three therapeutic group could inhibit the transplantation Lewis tumourobviously, while the inhibition ratio of the tianjiu-chemotherapy-therapy group wasthe most, which was up to 36.0%. The dyeing observation of the tumour HE shew thatnucleus pycnosis and karyorrhexis£?and vacuole existed much in the tumour of thetianjiu-chemotherapy-therapy group, that means tianjiu could enhance the inhibitioneffects of the mice tumour based on the chemotherapy-therapy. 3. The experiment results shew that the Natural Kill cell of the tianjiu-therapygroup was the most active. Compared with the others, the activity of the NK cell ofthe tianjiu-therapy group had statistic difference.
