Objective: Evaluating objectively the clinical efficacy and safety of Chinese native medicine wash-outside in treating Diabetes foot wet gangrene and discussing the mechanism through clinical observation.Methods: Adopting experimental methods of random and control, 80 eligible patients were divided into control group(40 cases)which was administered conventional medicine and treatment group(40 cases)which was added Chinese native medicine to wash outside randomly, comparing the when of granulation tissue formation and wound surface healing, local symptom and objective rate of wound surface after a course of treatment .what is more, half year after recovering, limb function was observed by conducting a long-term follow-up survey. T-test and X~2test were used in processing data.Results: Treatment group is more effective comparing with control group in the following items: local symptom and objective sign, reduction rate of wound surface after a course of treatment, P<0.05; limb function was observed by conducting a long-term follow-up survey results shows obvious difference between two groups, P<0.01.Conclusion: Chinese native medicine wash-outside is safe and effiective in treating wet gangrene of diabetes foot.The prescription is probably related to such role saspreventing and treating local infection , anti-inflammation , bacteriostasis, improving blood circulation and enhancing immunity of local tissue, and clearing necrotic tissue.Although there is no significant changes on limb function of patients after treatment when conducting a long-term follow-up survey, the prescription can shorten the healing time of wound surface, relieve patients sufferings and save money, so the treatment is worthy of spreading.
