The author investigated Fructus Lycii and Fructus Schisandrae in Wu Zi Yan Zong Wan by quantitative microseopic identification method. The author combined several methods including microphotography, computer image manipulation and mathematical statistic teconology, mensuring the microscopic constant of 14 kinds of Fructus Lycii and 5 kinds of Fructus Schisandrae. At the same time the author classified the 14 kinds of Fructus Lycii excatly by main componential analysis method and clustering analysis method to figuer out the microscopic identification constant of each grade. By quantitative microscopic identification method, the author mansured the percents of Fructus Lycii and Fructus-Schisandrae in Wu Zi Yan Zong Wan. By making use of ultraviolet spectrometry method to measure the congtent of Fructus Lycii polyose in Fructus Lycii and By making use of high performance liquid chromatography method to measure the content of Schizandrol A in Fructus Schisandrae. The author make statistic analyse between the amount of microscopic identification and the content of chemic component. As a rusult: quantitative microscopic identification method is a conveniency, fast, less consuming method. it can afford basis to the quality control of Wu Zi Yan Zong Wan. The study mainly include:1. Chosing experimental conditions by homogeneous experimental design.2. Mesuring the microscopic identification congtant of different grade of Fructus Lycii.3. Mesuring the microscopic identification congtant of different producing area of Fructus Schisandrae.4. Measuring the content of Fructus Lycii and Fructus Schisandrae in Wu Zi Yan Zong Wan by quantitative microscopic identification method.5. By making use of ultraviolet spectrometry method to measure the content of Fructus Lycii polyose. Making pertinency analyse between the amount of Fructus Lycii microscopic identification and the content of Fructus Lycii polyose. They are high and minus correlated.6. By making use of HPLC to measure the content of Schizandrol A in Fructus Schisandrae. Making pertinency analyse between the amount of Fructus Schisandrae microscopic identification and the content of Schizandrol A. They are middling and plus correlated.
