Section1:Study on the chemical constituents from the fruits of Cynanchum thesioides(Freyn)K.SchumCynanchum thesioides (Freyn.) K.Schum, Dishaogua, is a traditional Chinese medicine. Widely distributed in Gansu, Hebei, Heilongjiang, Henan of China, have been used for the treatment of ache, dephlogisticate and so on. The compounds were separated by repeated silica gel, Sephadex LH-20, HPLC chromatography methods. The structures of compounds isolated were identified by their physicochemical properties and spectral data. Ten compounds were isolated and their structures were identified asβ-amyrin acetate (1), lupeol acetate (2), a-amyrin caprylate (3), a-amyrin (4), 6-amyrin (5), oleanolic acid (6), succinic acid (7),β-sitosterol (8),daucosterol (9),ferulic acid (10). Compounds 4, 5, 6 were obtained from this plant for the first time, and compounds 4 and 6 were obtained from this genus for the first time.Section2:Study on saponins from Panax notoginseng (Burk.)F.H.ChenPanax notoginseng (Burk.) F.H.Chen, Sanqi, is a traditional Chinese medicine, and has been used for the treatment of haemostasis, ache and detumescence by local folks in China. The compounds were separated by repeated silica gel, Sephadex LH-20, HPLC chromatography methods. The structures of compounds isolated were identified by their physicochemical properties and spectral data. Twelve compounds were isolated, eleven of them were identified as ginsenoside-Rg1 (11),ginsenoside-Rg2 (12),ginsenoside-Re (13),ginsenoside-Rh1 (14),20(R)-ginsenoside-Rh1(15),notoginsenoside-R1(16),ginsenoside-Rb1(17),ginsenoside-Rd (18),gypenosideⅩⅦ(19),ginsenoside-Rk3(20),ginsenoside-Rh4(21). Compounds 15, 20, 21 were obtained from this plant for the first time.
