Breast cancer is the most frequently malignant tumor in female. From the viewpoints of literature research, this thesis studied ancient research files including with the originality of the name of Breast cancer, the symptoms and the signs, the cause and the pathogenesis, the diagnosis and the prognosis, the methods of the treatments, the health preservation, etc. This thesis also studied the current research files including with the cause and the pathogenesis, the methods of treatments, the experiment study, etc.With the analysis program in computer, database of the formulas and medicine from the Chinese traditional medicine were founded. The frequency of herbs was analyzed by statistic method. Besides this, the most frequently used herbs were selected too. With the same method, the modern database and the toxicity of radiotherapy and chemotherapy database of the formulas and medicine were founded. And the most frequently used herbs were selected too. With comparisons and contrasts to the three databases, the same and the difference characters among the three were studied, and the reasons for these were explained too.The last part of the thesis poses four basic methods of the preventing and treating breast cancer: Prevention before onset and prevention from deterioration. Invigorating qi and blood is the main treatment methods of strengthening body resistance. Using more types of methods to eliminate pathogens, do not excessively heat-clearing. In addition, the treatment to eliminate the malignant with poisonous agents must be careful. At the same time, I consider nourishing qi to invigorate spleen is the valid method in the medical treatment.
