Mistletoe Study Of The Chemical Composition

Hujisheng,the herba of Viseum coloratum(komar,)Nakai,is a well-known traditional chinese medicine and recorded in th pharmacopocia of P.R..China.It is used in many traditional Chinese prescriptions for resisting cardiac dysrhythmia and rheumatic arthralgia.Summary of the research papers at home and abroad in the chemical composition of the mistletoe and pharmacological research on the basis of progress on the flavonoid glycoside the mistletoe chemical constituents.On the review of chemical constituents of Viseum coloratum(komar,) and its pharmacological activities,we investigated constituents of saponin of Viseum coloratttm(komar,) 3 compounds were isolated from it by using open-column(silica gel.macroreticular resin,Sephadex LH-20,ODS),preparative HPLC methods et al.Their structure were elucidated as(β)-3-Hydroxyolean-12-en-28-oicacid(Oleanolicacid), naringenin 7-O-β-D-glucopyranoside(compoundâ…¡) and naringenin 7-O- apiofura-nosyl(1â†'2) -β-D-glucopyranoside(compoundâ…¢) by 1H-NMR,13C-NMR techniques,the purity of these were 97%,I00%and 99.44%respectively.Through Pharmacodynamics of that mistletoe compoundâ…¡,compoundâ…¢mouse can reduce the frequency of ventricular fibrillation,identified as the active ingredients of mistletoe.
