This thesis discusses about "the wind pattern caused by static blood". Wind stroke has a long history, which is recorded by many archaic literatures. The cognition about the etiology and pathogenesis of wind stroke is a continual progressive course from unilateralism to all-side. Nowadays, using the methods of activating blood circulation and removing blood stasis to treat wind stroke is widespread in clinic. However, the theoretical expatiation about the relationship of static blood and wind stroke is very less. This thesis has coordinated and researched archaic literatures thoroughly and systemically. According to the characters of wind stroke as the internal wind pattern, and using the differentiation methods of Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM), the thesis analyses the relationship of static blood and wind stroke. Meanwhile, the thesis combined the knowledge about wind stroke from west medicine with modern research progress of TCM to advance the conception of the wind pattern caused by static blood: it is a kind of internal wind differentiation combined with static blood syndromes. This pattern occurs mainly as a result of unsmooth circulation, or partial stagnation of blood and retention of bled blood inside of the body. The main syndromes including dizziness, stir, numbness of the limbs, thrill, clouding collapse, hemiplegia, etc. We summarized the characters of wind pattern caused by static blood, and analyzed the differences of pathogenesis between the wind pattern caused by static blood and other wind patterns. Accordingly, we educed that the relative existence of the wind pattern caused by static blood is inevitable. It is the contention of this thesis. We intend to consummate and substantiate the present theories of internal wind pathogenesis in the TCM field, and to provide theoretical basis for the clinic treatment of internal wind.
