This thesis includes document summary and clinical observation.Document SummaryThis thesis clarifies the pathogenesis and etiopathogenisis of the stomachache systematically by analyzing the ancient and modern documents and classifies them according to the system differentiations.The document summary about Lingguibafa firstly states the source and theoretical basis,and explains the composition,points choosing and application principles of Lingguibafa in details.And summarize the ancient and modern documents about the stomachache.Clinical ObservationThe main focus of the project is to investigate the Lingguibafa method for treating stomachache of deficient coldness pattern in clinical practice.ObjectivesOn the basis of the clinical research,use the Lingguibafa method for treating stomachache of deficient coldness pattern.Investigate effects and advantages of the Lingguibafa method,in order to make full use of it.MethodsSelect the patients of stomachache of deficient coldness pattern and separate them into the treatment group and the control group randomly. There were 31 cases in the treatment group and 29 in the control group, making total 60 cases.The treatment group was using Lingguibafa method, and the control group was using routine acupuncture method.Two week's later,use the statistics method,analyzing the data of the two groups' effects by the software of SAS V8 version.ResultsUse the non-parametric test for the ages of the two groups before the treatment,and the result turned out to be no difference.After two weeks of the treatment,use the independent T test for the symptoms of stomachache, stomach distention,sour regurgitation,nausea and vomiting of the two groups before and after the treatment.The result showed that the all P values are less than 0.01,which has a significant difference between prior and post treatment.By using the chi square test,there is no highly significant difference on the general effects of two groups(P＞0.05). However,through the non-parametric test,there is a highly significant difference on the numbers of doing acupuncture of the two groups,which meaned the number of doing acupuncture in the treatment group for treating the stomachache of deficient coldness pattern is much less than the muber of the other group.ConclusionBoth the therapies of treatment group and control group are effective for the stomachache of deficient coldness pattern.Although there is no highly significant difference between the two groups,use the Lingguibafa method can shorten the treatment course effectively.
