Objective:To evaluate the influences of the integrated intervention model on the metabolic parameters and depression psychology in diabetic patients. Methods:Under the principle of voluntary participation,100 diabetic patients who visited endocrinology department of General Hospital Of Jincheng Anthracite Mining Group Co.Ltd from September to November 2009 were selected for this study and were random divided into two groups:experimental group (n=50) and control group (n=50). The patients in experimental group were treated with integrated intervention for 5 monthes. The integrated intervention included routine treatment of Hypoglycemic Agents, health education and psychological intervention. According to the patients' self-rating depression scores, the mental intervention included psychotherapy or the combination of antidepressant drug therapy. The patients in control group received the conventional treatment of hypoglycaemic drugs. The change of body mass index, glycated hemoglobin, fasting plasma glucose, postprandial 2 hour blood glucose, depression scores by SDS rating scales were observed. The total number of 100 surveys gave a 100% response rate. To establish the Excel2000 database, using SPSS17.0 statistical software on-line statistical analysis. The data was analyzed by descriptive statistics, rank sum test, T test, P test, chi-square test and so on.Results:1,There were no significant differences between two groups.2,Compared with the control group, The body mass index, level of glycated haemoglobin of patients in experimental group were significantly improved(P<0.05); The ability of controlling metabolic indicators of patients in comprehensive intervention group during long term was stronger than that of patients in control group.3,The improvement of the depression of patients in experimental group was more significantly improved than that in control group. Conclusion:The integrated intervention can improve the metabolic parameters of type 2 diabetes, and it is very helpful for the long-term self-control of metabolism in diabetic patients. Besides, it could improve the emotions of the patients with depression greatly. This could make patients rise the level of self-management by adjusting their attitude and recognition to reality, then the patients will adopt a more healthy life style. So the comprehensive intervention is effective and necessary for diabetes cure, which can provide a reference for comprehensive intervention of chronic diseases.
