The percutaneous coronary intervention has been more and more common since the first successful case of percutaneous transluminal coronary angioplasty in the world in 1977. It has been a safe, convenient, and fast medical treatment of coronary heart disease. It has saved many patients who endured heart disease and improved their quality of life. But the restenosis has been a big trouble for the medical workers. The restenosis incidence of different intervention is varied. Thereby, how to intervene so as to reduce the incidence of restenosis has become a hot issue of cardiovascular disease study. My teacher Professor Zhang Shuang is a rigorous scholar. She has both knownledge and clinical experience. She brings in the advantages of others and never stops studying. She upholds the archaism that a good doctor can cure the potential disease. On the basis of understanding of the etiology and pathogenesis of TCM and the pathophysiology of WM, through the observation of the coronary heart disease patients before and after interventional therapy, she concluded that the coronary intervention is a temporary solution to solve the problem. It just can open the blocked blood vessels rapidly, and improve the statement of myocardial acute ischemia. TCM Treatment after coronary interventional therapy is emphasis in the original body weakness. It balances yin and yang from the overall condition, and improves the internal organs function. Upholding the original body weakness and the appearing disease, she uses both Chinese medicine and western medicine to cure the patients according to the clinical condition. I was fortunate to be a student of Professor Zhang Shuang, I benefited from her instruction a lot. I summarized her experience of curing restenosis after the percutaneous coronary intervention through the combination of Chinese medicine and western medicine. The medical workers can share it and get some enlightenment from it.
