Four Gentlemen Decoction And Radix Ophiopogon Decoction Clinical Research To Improve The Quality Of Life For Advanced Lung Cancer Patients With Qi And Yin Deficiency Type

Purpose:To observe sijunzitang combined with shasenmaidongtang to improve the quality of life of patients with lung cancer in later stage belong to deficiency of qi and yin.Material and method:In 3 years, 92 patients with lung cancer in later stage after chemotherapy are divided into two groups according to whether taking taditional chinese medicion. In treatment group 43 cases take sijunzitang and shasenmaidongtang combined with chemotherapy. In the control group 49 patients are treated with chemotherapy alone, to contrast the therapeutic effect in clinical manifestations of the two groups; the changes before and after treatment of tumor lesions and quality of life assessment. Count data were analyzed by chi-square test (Fisher exact test), all data were statistically analyzed using sas9.1 software.Results:1. There was no significant difference between the two groups of gender, age, distant metastasis, pathological types, chemotherapy, and has comparability;2. Changes in clinical manifestations: cough, fatigue in mental and physical, blood sputum, loss of appetite, spontaneous sweating and night sweating, treatment group was significantly better than the control group, P values were<0.05; shortness of breath, no significant difference between the treatment group and the control group, P>0.05 ;3. Changes in tumor lesions: CR + PR, CR + PR + NC, treatment group was significantly better than the control group, P<0.05;4. KPS score and weight change: increase, stability, treatment group was significantly better than the control group, P<0.05.Conclusion:1. For the patients with lung cancer in later satge belong to deficiency of qi and yin, the treatment with Sijunzitang and shasenmaidongtang combined with chemotherapy with clinical manifestations of tumor size, quality of life, body weight significantly better than chemotherapy alone, while there was no significant difference in clinical symptoms of shortness of breath contasting to chemotherapy . 2. Sijunzitang and shasenmaidongtang can improve the quality of life of patients with lung cancer in later stage belong to deficiency of qi and yin, by strengthening qi and nourishing yin, strengthening healthy qi and against cancer.
