Pei Xing "legend" And Its Poetic Features

Peixing is a writer of classical fiction in late Tang Dynasty. His masterpiece is Chuanqi. Chuanqi is a novel collection of late Tang Dynasty. This novel has a very high position in the history of literature. It is very popular in the spreading process and has a profound impact on the creation of the later novel and drama.This paper is mainly divided into five parts:The first part: This paper summarized the research condition of Peixing and Chuanqi in introduction and explained the purpose and significance of this study in the introduction.The second part: Author researched Peixing's family, origin, life and his friends and discussed the creative background, the creative motivation, the source of the story of Chuanqi.Then illustrated the impact of Taoism to Chuanqi.The third part: Author researched the aesthetic presentation of the poem characteristic in Chuanqi and its reason.The fourth part: Author illustrated the the impact of Chuanqi and its poem characteristic on the later literature.The fifth part: In the foundation of the predecessors , Author illustrated the literary value and the history value of Chuanqi.
