Tang And Music Literature During The Study

Music and literature is very prosperous in the Tang dynasty. As the revival stage of Tang dynasty, there is no exception in Yuan He period. This paper tries to analyze the literature's state and features in Yuan He period by means of combining music with literature.This thesis consists four chapters.The first chapter is introduction. This part describes the value of music literature in the period, research status and some questions that will be illustrated.The second chapter is about court music literature, in the first quarter background of the court music system, the types and characteristics of literature are introduced. In this part diversities in historical data about the court music literature are compared and analyzed by means of philology.Chapter 3 is about music literature written by literati of Yuan He. It analyzes the reasons, the types and modes of transmission. In this part, creation problem in Zhu Zhi Ci(竹枝词)written by Liu Yuxi is described detailedly.Chapter 4 is about folk music literature in Yuan He period. It divides music literature into two parts, self-entertainment Ta Ge(踏歌)and folk rhyme and performing Xi Nong(戏弄)and Jiang Chang(讲唱).And it describes some works and characteristics in the two parts.The final part is conclusion, it combs and summarizes the main body, then it indicates the effects to progeny.
