Ming And Qing Literati Aesthetic Ideas On Folk Music

Literati as a cultural carrier and disseminator, always belong to the top of the society, after the yuan dynasty, due to various reasons such as politics, the literati class down gradually. In the Ming and qing dynasties, more was on the literati. Music history period of the Ming and qing dynasties and the folk music is very rich, the literati class down, further prosperity of folk music, make the literati has the chance to know more about folk music. Late Ming period at the beginning of the qing dynasty is a period of turbulent change, order to rebuild, in the face of the survival of the confusion and the changing of political life of the environment, the thoughts and actions of the literati in the gradually changing. In the turbulent period between Ming dynasty and early qing, the change of political and economic environment, the prosperity of folk customs, aesthetic psychology and aesthetic characteristics of literati are also quietly changing. This article attempts from the late Ming dynasty period representative literati-feng, wu meicun, li yu, typical case study to the overall reflection on period between Ming dynasty and early qing literati common aesthetic thought. Through to the case discussion and comparison of three common music aesthetic analysis, this paper argues that the late Ming dynasty literati for folk customs of qing dynasty is very admired and loved, vulgar music aesthetic occupying their aesthetic practice, but vulgar music aesthetic period between Ming dynasty and early qing did not become popular common aesthetic consciousness, rather than individual thinking and aesthetic consciousness, literati literati traditional aesthetic concept remains unchanged, still maintained the traditional music aesthetic.Although history there are a few writers expressed for the love of folk customs, but never a period like late Ming period at the beginning of the qing dynasty, literati of folk customs of affection is so very, praise of love is so large that it is of the few phenomena in history. Therefore explore literati during this period to the aesthetic ideas of folk customs has a certain historical significance. Case analysis in this paper, on the basis of case analysis to explore the literati vulgar music aesthetic thoughts during this period.
