The topic of this study is Armenian Genocide (also called Armenian Massacre) which happened in Ottoman Empire between 1915 and 1917 and its influences. From the historical background of Armenian Genocide, this study analyzes the internal and external of the genocide, and points out its fundamental reason. The reason is racialism including the factors on religious, national and economic sphere. The other issue in this study also includes the influences of Armenian Genocide to the relations among Turkey and Armenian, Turkey and America, Turkey and European Union. Discussions about the crux of the relation between Turkey and Armenia, the developing progress of the relation between Turkey and America, the obstructive factors of Turkey participating EU are carried out as well in order to find out some methods of reconciliation between Turkey and Armenia. The study also compares with the two conceptions namely "massacre" and "genocide" using international political theories, and analyzes the similar and different points between Armenian Genocide and Holocaust.The study is to conduct a brief analysis on Armenian Genocide, a historical incident which has been ignored by many people. The study not only makes people understand the essence of "genocide", so as to alarm them, but also through the analysis on the policies of Turkish nation, religion and diplomacy, has an important realistic meaning between China and Turkey.The creative point of this study is that standing on Chinese scholar's position, using the research productions of Western and Turkish scholar for reference and making use of a great number of new documents and social scientific theories, it attempts to analyze the Armenian Genocide objectively and fairly, and outstrip Chinese scholar's present research productions.
