The ancestor worship was very popular in Zhou Dynasty, and sacrifice, together with the prevalent temple rural days and justice, constitute the state regulations together the three main festival activities. As poem collection in the Zhou Dynasty, some poems in the "Elegant" and "Praise" of "Book of Songs" significantly reflects the society at that time, especially the religious sacrificial temple the embodiment of the sacrifice of the content is more abundant. No matter the temples sacrifice sacrifices or the preparation of sacrificial utensils, or the complete ancestor-worship celebration, could be understood and mastered through the ancestor-worship poems in the "Book of Songs". Moreover, through the ancestor-worship poem, we could understand the sacrifice purpose, ideological content and the ceremony, also we can get a general idea of the religious ideas, social political thought and general aspects of the rating system in Zhou Dynasty. Temple's ritual activities in the "Book of Songs "is already a composite of folk custom, politics, etiquette, religion, etc. Therefore, it is of great value to discuss the culture of temple sacrifice reflected in the "Book of Songs " In the meantime, it has important historical significance to research the social religion, political ideas, and content such as grading system in the Zhou Dynasty.This paper mainly studies three parts:the first part studies the development and evolution of different characteristics, cultural significance and ancestor worship of primitive religion in the Xia, Shang and Zhou Dynasties. The second part is the study of such relevant content as sacrifice object, venue, dancing and music, musical instruments, scarifial utensils and offerings reflected in the "Book of Songs", and illustrates the procedure in detail. The third part starts from the objective reflected by the ancestor-worship poetry, the ideological connotation of the ancestor-worship poetry, and worshipping ancestors'etiquette, to illustrate the religious values, political ideology and hierarchical profiles in the Zhou Dynasty. The Epilogue mainly expounds the development and evolution of temple ancestor-worship celebration and system in later years.
