Study On The Thoughts Of Ancestor Worship Confucian In The Pre-Qin

Ancestor worship,as the core content of Chinese traditional culture,is also an important part of Chinese ritual and music culture.For thousands of years,it has been the spiritual belief of the Chinese nation,and with its unique enlightenment function,it regulates and guides people’s real life.The pre Qin Confucianism inherited and developed the traditional ancestor worship culture.On the basis of the ritual and music sacrifice culture of the Yin and Zhou dynasties,it deeply explained the humanistic rational thought of ancestor worship,weakened the pursuit of external utilitarian and good fortune of ancestor worship,revealed the inner nature of returning to the original and repaying kindness,strengthened the moral education function of ancestor worship,and made ancestor worship the foundation of Chinese spiritual home.However,the tradition of ancestor worship in modern society has been largely abandoned and forgotten,so that people’s belief is empty and in a "rootless" state of existence.Therefore,it is necessary to reflect and inherit the traditional ancestor worship culture.Through the study of pre Qin Confucian ancestor worship thought,we can find the root of Chinese spiritual belief,so as to stimulate the significance of contemporary Chinese life,establish Chinese cultural confidence,and better realize the great rejuvenation of the Chinese nation.This paper mainly studies the pre Qin Confucian ancestor worship thought from the following four aspects.First of all,from the perspective of exploring the origin of the heart nature of ancestor worship,the pre Qin Confucians believe that the real reason for ancestor worship is people’s inner temperament,benevolence and filial piety.People’s ancestor worship shows the real difference between people and animals.Retribution is people’s unique emotional manifestation and rational awareness.In the process of loving and respecting ancestors,people get the sense of belonging and the root of existence.Not only that,as the "origin of life",heaven is the original ancestor of human beings and the ultimate source of ancestor worship.People express their awe and gratitude to heaven through "matching ancestors with heaven".Secondly,the pre Qin Confucians believe that the ritual of ancestor worship can best express people’s feelings of ancestor worship,and the ritual is the most important of all the ritual texts,"ritual has five classics,not more important than sacrifice".In the three-year funeral and Zhao mu system,it not only shows the heart of benevolence and filial piety,but also reflects the different ethical order of kinship and estrangement.Thirdly,the pre Qin Confucians realized that ancestor worship was the foundation and beginning of ethical education,and that "ancestor worship is the foundation of education".In the process of ancestor worship,they understood the life and death of human beings,so as to understand the way of human life.Thus,they were influenced by enlightenment in ancestor worship,set up the life goal of standing on one’s own feet and pursuing the future,which played an important role in educating the public,and formed a social atmosphere of "people’s morality returning to the rich".Not only that,in the worship of ancestors,engaging in the pro,and then rising to the event of heaven,in the awe of the rites and rituals to establish the final spiritual belonging of people,to achieve the unity of heaven and man.Finally,it explores the modern value of the pre Qin Confucian ancestor worship.The idea of ancestor worship is not only conducive to the cultivation of filial piety based family ethics,but also conducive to the promotion of excellent family style;it is also conducive to the cohesion of national centripetal force,the enhancement of national identity,and the establishment of a sense of responsibility and mission for the great rejuvenation of the contemporary Chinese nation.The main innovation of this paper is that,different from the specific ritual to explore ancestor worship culture,based on the analysis of ideological connotation,this paper focuses on the interpretation of the human root of ancestor worship tradition,the meaning of ritual and the ethical significance of ancestor worship from the perspective of pre Qin Confucianism.The deficiency of this paper is that the theoretical analysis of literature needs to be further studied and improved.
