Children Piano Motivation Exploration

Child's piano learning motivation is a driving force directly to the all activities of piano learning. The child's piano learning motivation would play an important role in his getting piano achievement. The past researches and practices have shown that only the children should always be in an optimal state of motivation, educators could possible successfully complete the tasks of piano teaching. By using a motivation questionnaire, the present study investigated the piano learning motivation of the primary school children (grades 3-6) in Changzhou city, Jiangsu Pro. The present study get some features of the piano learning motivation of Changzhou's children, and further more make some recommendations. These recommendations include: (1) to focus on the children's interest, (2) to overcome the gender differences, (3) to minimize the threat of self-worth that the children facing.
