Modern school education was the main channel of Japanese militarism education. Under the guidance of foreign expansion policy,education of modern Japanese schools has a strong militarism colour. It supported the modern Japanese foreign invasion activity strongly from the thought and public opinion aspects, and to the modern Japanese national and even the world all having an extremely bad influence. This paper was in time sequence. Based on the systematic investigation of the Japanese school militaristic education developments of Meiji, Taisho, Hirohito periods, this paper summarized the characteristics of modem school education militarism and attempted to get sentiments and reflection.Japanese neoteric militarism school education was founded in Meiji period. For the purpose of self-improvement, including the education field the Meiji government reformed many social fields. A lot of education policies and regulations promulgated and implemented. The Japanese government tried to establish modem school system. Under the slogan of "Rich Nation, Strong Army","Industry Breeding and Business Initiating" and "Civilization",the Japanese education of Meiji period had developed rapidly, and it provided great power to the Japanese national strength ascension; But due to the influence of expansionary policy education gradually showed militarism tendency at the later Meiji period.Taisho period of Japanese school education inherited the basic education principles of Meiji period. It improved the state control of education in content and system aspects,and belonged to the school militarism education adjustment and establish period.On guiding ideology, the Japanese government paid more attention to relevant nationalism and being loyal to the ideas of patriotism indoctrination.The government insisted that individuals for the country's obedience consciousness;On education system, various and of all kinds school scale further expanded. It provided more support for the Japanese government to the expansion policy in technology and manpower aspects; In its content, schools began to value student's military training, strengthened the control of thoughts and actions of teachers and students and tried to interference and influence the youth organization.In the first twenty years of Hirohito period the Japanese domestic and foreign environment is very unrest, in the domination of militarism policy, political, economic and cultural fall in deformity development, school militaristic education also have been further strengthened.Its expression was:pay attention to militarism thought indoctrination, strengthen the control of thoughts and actions of teachers and students, cultivate strong physique and strengthen military training, perfect militarism education system etc; however, school militarism education also gradually decline as Japan military gradually defeat at the end of world war two. Recession is embodied in that government widely launch students to participate in the compulsory labor, enlisted soldier and many other education changes.Modern Japanese school education characteristics of militarism has three points.Education management of power is concentration. It has institutionalized, systematic and mandatory characteristic; In the education content, schools pay special attention to the national consciousness, good physique, professional skills training. School education has deceptive characteristics; In point of the relationship of education implementers and students, schools and teachers always in the "controller" position and students always play the role of passive and obey.Modern Japanese school militarism education has three reasons.Firstly, in the point of island geographical environment and longitudinal type social structure, Japan has the foundation of formation and development of militarism education; in the point of modern mikado system, school militarism education itself is an explanation and defend to it; in the point of foreign influence, the fact that modern Japanese imitate Germany to a certain extent to accelerate and promote the school education development of militarism.The revelation that the development process of modern Japanese school militarism education to the contemporary Japanese school education is that:school education can never out of democracy and justice; Also cannot violate the principle of fair and objective.
