In 1965, the United States California cybernetics expert Zade, who published a thesis about "fuzzy sets"in the "Information and Control" magazine, proposed the famous theory, indicates that the great changes in scientific thinking.From then there birth a series of new subjects:fuzzy mathematics, fuzzy logic, fuzzy linguistics, fuzzy rhetoric and so on. In 1972, Lake Fu proposed the concept of hedges, opening the curtain about this study. Hedges is a kind of expression of Fuzzy language and restrict the Fuzzy language, it exists in written and spoken language.Hedges has unique Semantic features and rich semantic content and pragmatic function which others word can not be replaced. In 2007, Professor Jiang Yue from Xi'an Jiaotong University published "Hedges in English medical papers in the Comparative Study of Distribution", attracted attention the study of hedges on English academic contrast. Have appeared in various academic, scientific reviews English study comparing Hedges. Literature is the language of art, literature art symbols is also literary language.The difference between literary language and scientific language is its shape function and ambiguity. Literary activities as a creative production is based on the ambiguity of the language as a precondition. Without ambiguity of literary language, will have not literary figure's life.This thesis base on the previous article, aim to study the works of literature Hedges comparative btween English and Chinese. The "Moment in Peking" of Lin Yutang,has magnificent structure and rich language,is known as the modern version of "Dream of Red Mansions",hold high value of Linguistic Study. Author use the original "Moment in Peking" and Mr.Zhang Zhenyu translated version, screening ands tatistics the hedges, Analysis the conclusion from quantitative and qualitative. This innovation is the literary language from the perspective of further hedges in deep discussion, there is no work in this regard, the conclusion of the theory of literary translation and comparison with some guidance.This paper divided into six chapters,chapter three and four are important. PartⅠis theintroduction of the paper, focusing on Hedges and Significance of Research for the commencement of a full understanding of the premise. ChapterⅡtalk about fuzzy words and the definition pragmatic role;ChapterⅢintroduct the various categories of fuzzy language, with a concrete example of corpus analysis;The fourth chapter is a combination interpretation of the screening patients Hedges quantitative and qualitative analysis; The fifth chapter describes the conclusions of this paper the practical significance of literary translation; Conclusion is mainly a summary of this article, but also the defects and shortcomings of this article, and prospects for the study of this topic.
