Miao hero on the king of Ya Lu epic is found in Ziyun county of Guizhou province in 2009 as the intangible cultural heritage which inherited the living condition of cultural heritage. It was listed in the national folk literature "intangible cultural heritage" by national ministry of culture in May 18,2010. This paper mainly focuses on the funeral rites of epic "the king of Ya Lu epic" in western MaShan dialect of Miao nationality in dialect to sing. We try to explain "the king of Ya Lu epic" from the research Angle of ethnomusicology.This paper can be divided into four chapters in addition to the introduction and conclusion as follows:The first chapter is the outlook of the Mashan natural ecology and human factors. We also make a brief introduction about its ethnic origin, language and religious beliefs. The introduction and the first chapter is the first part of this paper.The second chapter mainly explains the inheritance and its collective characteristics on the king of Ya Lu epic in category singing field and singing the three aspects records description. Chapter 3 discusses the king of Ya Lu epic in the music ontology, mainly from the voice type, music morphology and singing method three viewpoints narrative and analysis. The second chapter and the third chapter are the second part.The fourth chapter mainly bases on illustration and analysis for t the king of Ya Lu epic from the perspective of culture of hero. The fourth chapter and epilogue part are the third part.
