In 2009 the region of MaShan from GuiZhou Miao’s epic “yaru King” was stepped into the culture of public view. In recent years, as the most important intangible cultural heritage of GuiZhou province, “yaru King” is fill of the few blanks by its special form of text in the Southwest China(the large gaps of the Miao-Yao language family in the heroic epic). “ yaru King ” is not only showing the Miao ancestry migration,campaign and other local historical texts, but also save a lot of myths/epic plot and motif. The epic’s “context” still retains many of the most original and ancient ritual. The epic and Miao’s funeral ritual build their religion, and the epic and ritual cannot be divided. Through analysis of the relationship between the epic bundled “text” and ritual “article”, this paper use the method of mutual penetration of “ text ” and “ article ”.The ceremony included the analysis of threshold respectively, etc. Mainly on solve the problem of the relationship between the two, that is, from “ what ” to “ why ”. Finally concluded: in the national level, the epic of “yaru King” is the Miao people’s “spiritual image”; in the individual level, the Miao’s funeral ceremony is the text of yaru King’s symbolic imitation.
