This paper studies the film adaptation strategies of Seventeen-year literature. Film and Literature has already formed close relationship that you are in me and I have you. Film adaptation is also a cultural phenomenon that we must address. Firstly this paper summarizes the differences of literature and film as two forms of art, and from a larger perspective to discuss the theory of film adaptations from literary. It is a social discourse practice, reflecting the social significance and aesthetic charm of the specific age.The main part of this paper is on the text studies of the film adaptation of Seventeen-years literary. It is mainly concentrated in the three examples of "Blessing", "Song of Youth" and "Lin Hai Xue Yuan". Whether fictions or films, these three works not only have achieved a high artistic achievement, but also caused a larger social repercussion. According to the practice of the adaptations of these works, the paper discussed many aspects of the theory the adaptation, such as faithful to the original, evolution of the narrator, film script and so on, and from the additions or deletions in plot and the change the significance, combed the history of film in period of Seventeen-years and saw through the broad historical reality and the spirit of the times.
