Since the Ming Dynasty, the Linghu town has become one of the most important town in the silk weaving in the regions of the Yangtze River.The research mainly talks about the natural environment and the establishment and abolishment of town in the area of Linghu.The research also studies the change of transportation in the Linghu town and the distribution of the major industry such as silk weaving and fish-keeping,as well as the daily business,which reveals the scene in the interior of the town. Through the study on the reversion of the spatial structures of the town, we can clearly see the structure of the town, we can also know the relation to the transportation and the spatial structure of the town, recognizing that the transformation of the transportation has play an important part in the development of towns in the regions of the Yangtze River.
