Bayan Accordion Playing Grieg's "holberg Suite" And Practical Exploration

The founder of Norwegian folk music, Edvard Grieg, has composed large number of works focused on life of usual people, rurality and folk music issues. Patriotism is the significant element in most of his works. The Holberg Cento was his masterpiece for piano in memory of "father of Denish literature" Holberg Ludwig in his 200th anniversary.This research is to recompose the Holberg Cento for Bayan based on analysis of the piano edition and the symphony one. The essential issue is to combine the original style of this piece and the characters of Bayan perform manner, in order for better understanding of the Edvard Grieg music. Notice for performing is made based on the experience of the author. This is a primary research and based on which we wish to promote the understanding of the Grieg music in education.
