Cross talk is a kind of art with long history which is characted by the humorous language style welcome by the public. Talking is the main way of cross talk to express. Hiding wraps is the chief method to perform, the magic key to attract the audience.The good cross talk production consists not only perfect material but also good organization. So many language express ways are used, such as rhetorical skill. This field is the main research object of the language before the rising of pragmatics. After it the research turns to the pragmatics angle from the perform skill and rhetorical skill. For instance the theory of conversation, relevance, structural transferring theory and graphical theory are talked in the research of language. But the research from the presupposition theory to consider cross talk is little. This article focus on the relation between the wrap generating and presupposition, and which by the problem of cross talk humor effect will be talked. We hope that the thesis can support the help to get the better cross talk works, and deepen the use of presupposition.The cross talk mainly comes from the reality of life. In fact it is the course of transferring the real life to the arena. So the context is important. From the view of language function, presupposition is the common backgrounds of the both sides of conversation, this view thinks that the presupposition is an important part of context. This article is based on the classification of context from the linguist He Zhaoxiong.He thinks that the context can be divided into two parts, the locutionary context and illocutiaonary context. The thesis is based on the examples of the use of presupposition in the cross talk concludes the strategy of presupposition, including the locutionary presupposition strategy and illocutiaonary presupposition strategy. The first one consists reference presupposition strategy, relation presupposition strategy and so on. The latter one consists culture presupposition strategy, scene presupposition strategy and mental presupposition strategy. Presupposition strategy is very important to the cross talk humor. The master of presupposition strategy is necessary to the making of cross talk, wrap generating and comprehension of cross talk.The thesis also tries to analyze the model of presupposition and humor generating. Because the presupposition is dynamic and its being a part of context sometimes, so the presupposition and the context are mutual transformable. In the course of constant choosing language material, the different comprehension of presupposition meaning of the audience causes the conflict then leads the humor.We can get the conclusion from the presupposition strategy and the production of humor that the presupposition in the cross talk has the characters of invisibility, conflict and abnormability. But the most important key is the element of disharmony. The use of these presupposition strategy leads the humorous effect. It is believable that the research of presupposition strategy in the cross talk is helpful to the cross talk works and the humor use in the daily life.
