"sin" And "redeem" Humanity Meditation

Fang Fang is a miracle in the history of Chinese Contemporary Literature, who couldn't be classified into any genres, for she holds fast to the nature of literary creation and focuses on the misery of ordinary people; She tries to explore the secrets that lie deep in humanity and reveals them in a sharp brushwork. In fact, she is greatly underestimated.This thesis sheds the light on the creative spirit of Fang Fang based on two perspectives of"Sin"and"Atonement"."Sin"refers to the elements of morality and humanity with Oriental nature in Fang Fang's literature;"Atonement"refers to its generalized definition. The introduction part reviews the development course and current situation of Fang Fang's literature, and then presents the research thought and method of this thesis. The first three chapters are arranged on a chronological order, and we learn the revolution of the subjects in her writing: from the"psychological change of the victims"to the"generation of sin", then to the"atonement". We draw the conclusion from the analysis of the representative works of Fang Fang that she presents and reflects the development of the man's spirit and observes the changes on personality under different living environments. This thesis also makes some comparative analysis between Fang Fang and other novelists at home and abroad to further reveal the peculiarity of her creative spirit and present a vivid Fang Fang.
