Modernity originated from western Renaissance .It truly established and been dubbed "enlightening modernity" when in the period of enlightenment ,for its obtain historical connotation .It refered in particular to the" western pristine modernity. Enlightening modernity stemed from the liberation desire, and set an enlightenment ideal about "liberate man", "the realization of human's all-round development".However, enlightening modernity did not follow the trajectory of the plan in western modern practice,but began to change.namely as western modern finished, people liberated from the traditional bondage and ignorance into a new obscurantism and rule. The reality went against the designation, made social thinkers show different attitude to enlightening modernity designation . Postmodern activists strongly criticized that enlightening modernity was a complete failure story, pointed out that only dispelling ration, the chief culprit of causing failure,and modernity itself, people's all-round development can come; Modernist also criticized that enlightening modernity caused heavy dilemma for people's develop in its process,but we couldn't completely negate mondernity's value.They thought modernity was an "unfinished planning",if correctted the ration root causing people's development trouble,then finish the planning,the designation of enlightening modernity can achieve.Marx insisted on dialectical critical approach to modernity.on one hand,modernity created massive wealth for people's living and development,we should actively affirmation.on the other hand,during the development of modernization,it caused people's dissimilation and one-sided development,we should give it severely criticize.the place that Marx is different from and higher than the modernist lies in: he talks about this problem not confined to the simple idea Angle, but deeped into the social foundation level and look for a solution.Based on the research and analysis of Marx's Theory of Man ,and the principle of history and logic's unity. the essay is trying to explore methods on how to achieve people's all-round development in the modern society . three chapters are giving : the first chapter, Clears the connotation of modernity,then based upon it, defines the essence of modernity is that planning man's all-round development, and points out that the essence of modernity "planning" not only has historical rationality, but also has real possibility, and wins the future perspective based on the above two. The third Chapter, Based on Marxist humianistic reflection on "realistic individual" and the essence of human "survive practice nature",we get the way out of modernity "planning" predicament ,That is construction of an innovative Chinese modernity model,a kind of scientific development under the guidance of the idea of" human-oriented ".
