New Lyrics Creation

The paper brings ge-ci into a scope of musical literature and gives ge-ci a rational cognition so that we could draw the outline of the creation of ge-ci in the New Period. The creation of ge-ci in the New Period is investigated by variations and developments of creative ideal , and it is divided into three phases: First from the end of 70th to the medium-term of 80th , it is a phase of surrounding the main melody , ge-ci at art-expression pursuit aesthetic feeling of connotation and music ; Second it's a phase of seeking and counter-thinking of ethos under the impaction of the thoughts of western culture in the midterm and anaphase of 80th. Ge-ci lays stress on inner experience , brings run-deep out of modesty; Third, it's a primary phrase of behaving oneself and expressing one's individual emotion . The creation of ge-ci becomes more and more democratic , and the same time, appears the trend of anti-art. This paper in the choice of works gave attention to two and more things about lyric songs and popular songs , made great efforts for giving them general and fair value judgements.
