This thesis deals with the problem of social transformation in England through the reform of agriculture, introducing systemically the factors of technology and institution , calculating the labor productivity of agriculture before and after the Agricultural Revolution , analyzing the affect of Agriculture Revolution on industrializationChapter I This is the introduction of the thesis .The author puts forward his view on the definition, content and time limit about the Agricultural Revolution of England by analyzing and synthesizing the different standpoints of Chinese and European historians of economy.Chapter II This chapter is one of the main part of the thesis. In this chapter, the author introduces the technological factors of Agricultural Revolution which contains new crops, animal reformation Norfolk fouræ¢'ourse rotation, then gives the benefits brought about by technological reformation.Chapter III In this section, the author inquires into how the national agricultural market was formed, the change of land property right and how the rented梖arm system was formed, dissects the factor of institution and throws new light on enclosure.Chapter LV This chapter is the sublimation of chapter II and III. In this chapter, the author calculates the labor productivity from the beginning to the end of the revolution, proves this calcUlation by means of living standard during that period, then draws his conclusion that the labor productivity of agriculture was really improved through Agricultural Revolution.Chapter V The author analyses the industrialization affection ofAgricultural Revolution by means of the paradigm of developmenttheory and concludes that the industrialization originated during theAgricultural Revolution.
