This article aims to explore the UK’s agriculture investment from the traditional agricultural period to modern industrial period.The special lord and tenant investment patterns provide favorable support for the development of England agriculture.It had a profound influence in the British economic and social development, this paper had discussed the mode of17-19century British agriculture investment and it’s source and structure.British agriculture investment can be divided into direct investment and indirect investment.Direct investment is the capital of all classes of society direct investment in agriculture.It can be divided into four classes, that is nobles, trader, squire and wealthy agricultural producers.Indirect investment is agriculture invest which achieve the purpose throw the way of financial.The owner of the capital leave the field of production and operation,through loans or other financial instruments to invest in agriculture.With the development of British economy, the financial system continue to improve the indirect investment.The object of agriculture investment is refers to the specific object of the investment in agriculture.It can be divided into three parts.The first is the investment in purchase estate.The investment of sale of land is not only the general nature of the sale of land which has the determine ownership,but also the investment for the enclosure of the commons which the ownership is not clear.The second is investment for land improvement and agricultural infrastructure.The trend of investment in fixed capital investment in agriculture in England is steadily improving.The third is the investment for production and operation.This can partly be invested in goods can also be in the form of currency investment.This is the main source of agricultural production.British agriculture investment to take shape a special kind of lord and tenant investment patterns which because of the historical, economic, social systems, economic systems and other factors.this kind of invested and the income distribution system, provide a strong impetus for the development of agriculture in England.
