| Liang's essay has a peculiar style of art. This thesis mainly discusses some of his essay's artistic features, such as writing structure, linguistic characteristics, and intellectual grade, etc. According to the order of the discussion, the dissertation consists of six principle parts as follows. In the preface, I briefly describe the writing course, the influence of his works and the study state of the literature research circle .I also make necessary definition about some key conceptions in the following text. Chapter Ⅰ By comparing with some great masters Lin yutang, Zhou Zuoren, Feng Zikai,I set forth my points of view that Liang's essay both has the same style as the above-mentioned masters, and has some different characteristics. The same style means the common feature of "free and at leisure" in their works. But the unique point of Liang's essay lies in "neutralization of reason, and elegance of calm? Chapter Ⅱ It mainly discusses the trait of "extensive learning" in his essay. Then, the artistic problem of "literary quotation" is focused on. Chapter Ⅲ I probe the characteristics of the sheet structure in Liang's essay, and conclude that "the ingenious and marvelous structure" in his essay is related with the centralization of topic, the skill on the sides, such as start, transition, and ending. Chapter Ⅳ It mainly discusses the syntax's feature and the approach of expression of humour in Liang's essay. It expounds the artistic characteristics of his essay from various angles. In the end, I make some essential additions about the parts which cannot be fully discussed in the text. |
