In Luxun's youth, he bad studied in Japan for seven years. It was just inthis period that Luxun decided to give up his medicine studying but engagedin literature, which was a turn in his life. Naturally, the Japanese literaturehad quite an impact on this young man at that time. Luxun himself also saidthat, among the many writers in the Japanese literary world, the works of SousekiNacuziei, the leading writer in the world of Japanese literary in the IeiziDynasty, was one of his favorites. This article is to discuss preliminarilythe influence of the Japanese temporary writer Souseki Nacutnei on Luxun, andthe similarities and differences between the two great national writers.First, starting from the thoughts of Luxun in the early stages and of SousekiNacumei, the article made co.parisions between the similarities and differencesof the two writers on their literary starting points and their historicalmissions. In the darkness of the failure of the democratic revolution of theold type, his strong patriotic impassion was lighted that he decided resolutelyto give up his medicine studying and began to engage in literature, which washis literature starting point. He became a brave and thorough democratic solder.Aiming at the feudalism and oppression which the Chinese people bad sufferedfor thousands of years, he hope to wake up the consciousness and soberness ofthe fellow countrymen, so as to fight against the., by means of the force ofliterature. As to the ugly the defenders of the feudalism, he made mercilesssarcasm and critics. Because when Souseki Nacuniei just entered the society,he met the corruption and darkness in the Japanese education field. As anintellectual full of justice, then he began to let off his indignation andloneliness by means of the biting sarcasm. Another important starting pointis his worry and critics on the imitation of the west countries during theJapanese modernization. There are many similarities between the starting pointsof the two writers. Both standing on the point of not following the customs, they emphasized the force of spirit, and had the daring resistant spirit. Theyboth worried about the future and the fates of their own nations, and theircreation all lay in the big problems confronted before their own countries.~.But, because of the different social conditions of the sources of the problems, their objects for attacking were different; therefore their roads in literaturewere different. Luxun抯 literature creation was in connection with the socialpractice at the very beginning. So his style was progressive while SousekiNacumei paid much attention to the personality accomplishment, so his stylewas static .The result of the differences between this was that at the earlystages, Luxun became a democratic revolutionist, while Souseki Nacuzuei becamea sincere and progressive bourgeois writer. This was just the most fundamentaldifference between the two writers. From the point of the writer抯 historical mission, both of them bad the clearand strong historical mission. Because of the darkness of China at that tine,Luxun was aroused to anger towards the present state of art and literaturecircles. Souseki Nacumei was much more lonely but grand and heroic in his owncountry because of his attitude toward life and his personal belief. Both Luxun抯novels and his essays were composed consciously abiding by the purpose of servingthe people抯 demand for the urgent advent of a new cultural revolution. Theseworks aimed at waking the Chinese to fight against the unjust. Meanwhile SousekiNacumei observed the world with an angle of morality and justice. He expressedhis defiance to defend man抯 self梕go.In the second part of the article, it makes complete analysis of Kr. Huzinoand Souseki Nacumei抯 Er.
