Luxun And Natsume Souseki

Both Lu Xun and Natsume Souseki are regarded not only as peaks of modern literature history in their countries, but also as representative writers whom exerted far-reaching influence on modern literature history. Lu Xun and Natsume Souseki are both famous for their sharp writting style which reflected from their works. No matter these works are funny and humorous, meaningful and significant, or satiric and cynical. Lu Xun and Natsume Souseki descibed the real social status of that time, they pondered seriously over the future of human society. Such thinkings still have profound realistic significance and cognition value.Therefore, the intensive comparative studies between Lu Xun and Natsume Souseki can deepen the cognizance of Chinese and Janpanese modern literature. It can also enhance the cognizance of modern culture.This paper will capture the similarities between the two writers' experiences, analyze the specific works, and discuss the similarities and differences between their literature concepts. And then explore the delicate relationship between the two writers, as well as making a deeper cognition about the culture value and the literature value of the two great writers from these three aspects.This paper is mainly divided into five parts. The first chapter mainly elaborated the advance research, the objective and significance of this paper and the research methods. The second chapter mainly explored the delicate relationship between Lu Xun and Natsume Souseki. Basically from studying their similar abroad experience, their similar friendship with their teachers and Lu Xun's care and love about Natsume Souseki. The third chapter mainly analyzed each representative article of the two writers, Mr Craig by Natsume Souseki and Mr Teng Ye by Lu Xun. This chapter discussed the similarities and differences between the two articles, and then clarified the relationship between Lu Xun and Natsume Souseki. The fourth chapter described an important literature relationship between Lu Xun and Natsume Souseki which is called YuYu theory. The fifth chapter is a conclusion part. It made a conclusion about the referenced and exceeded literature relationship between Lu Xun and Natsume Souseki, which are summarized from experiences, works and literature concept. The last chapter proposed the next research subject.
