During the course of writing novels, Wang Xiaobo has the self-consciousness of the style all the time, which can provide the probability to us to have narrative research, because the style is one of the most important theoretical problems that are focused on by the theory of modern narratology. There are two gradations of narrative research on Wang Xiaobo novels: one is analysis of narrative models of the stories, the other is the research on narrative discourse of the texts. When analyzing the narrative models of Wang novel texts, the paper used the way of theme classifying to divide the texts into two kinds of stories persecute and eeking This paper analyzed four series of the two models separately by Greimas eries analysis On the basis of analyzing the narrative models, the paper studied the narrative discourse of Wang novels. The research of the narrative discourse includes three aspects: time, voice and mode. n the process of analysis, the paper paid more attention to the relationships among all kinds of narrative phenomena of Wang novels. Furthermore, the paper explained that the narrative phenomena had some influences on the speciality of the style. Wang Xiaobo established a completely new novel style through the rebellion to traditional narrative methods. The new style gave the great contribution to the innovation of modern Chinese novel style.
