C. P. E. Bach And The Classical Sonata Form To Establish

Caused by outstanding contribution in many aspects, C.P.E. Bach holds an important position in the Western music history as well as the history of the art of piano. However, in our country, studies in CP.E. Bach is almost a blank spot. This thesis confirms his contribution to the establishment of the sonata form by introducing him and his main keyboard works, as well as analyzing the process of the birth of the sonata form through studying the path of his creation.Divided into two parts, the thesis firstly introduced mainly the life of CP.E. Bach and the background of the age of the 18th century in which he lived, then analyzed the social environment, trends of thoughts of literature and arts, musical styles, musical forms and the production and development of musical instruments.The second part introduced the path of CP.E. Bach's creation and his musical style, also introduced and analyzed his early and late representative keyboard sonatas, and finally confirmed his outstanding historical contribution as an establisher of the sonata form.
