The study objects of this paper are mainly two negarive adverbs,bu (不) and (没有),in modern Chinese, which are the most important and used most frequently.In the paper ,the auther attempts to make clear these two words' grammatical distribution ,further more,analyses comparatively their semantic characters. Through these ?udy, we can not only make Chinese more clearly to understand these two negative adverbs and negative sentence pattern,but also help the foreigner to understand more easily the basic forms of negation in modern Chinese.grasp and apply the negative regular, and express with negative sentences which conform with Chinese rules and habit.
