Based on the theory of semantic grammar,this thesis is a study of the adverb“yizhi(??)”.By researching the corpus of Center for Chinese Linguistics PUK and BLCU Corpus Center and summarizing the research achievements and shortcomings of the former researchers,this paper describes and analyzes the syntactic features of the adverb“yizhi(??)”by the methods of inductive statistics,insertion and omission,comparative analysis and so on.And then,this paper summarizes the features of aspect and time and extracts the grammatical meaning of the adverb“yizhi(??)”.First of all,this paper investigates the distribution characteristics of the adverb“yizhi(??)”in the sentences and the choices of sentence types,and then analyzes the predicate structure closely related to it and the selection and exclusion relationship of other adverbs,so as to more accurately locate and comprehensively analyze the syntactic combination and distribution rule of the adverb“yizhi(??)”.Secondly,the adverb“yizhi(??)”has obvious characteristics in the choices of time and aspect.By investigating the choices of time and style of the adverb“yizhi(??)”,we find that the adverb“yizhi(??)”can only appear in sentences with persistent features.Finally,in terms of semantic extraction,the kernel semantic is extracted based on the syntactic combinatorial relations that have been verified in multiple ways and angles,and then the author sums up out of the grammatical meanings of the adverb“yizhi(??)”are continuity of action and state,continuity of time,extension of space and statement of verbal expression.So,the core meaning is that the speaker states the continuity of a certain movement in time and space.
