In the history of Chinese drama, Liyu is the first one to put forward the theory "Structure First". So do he carry out it firstly. In the past, people often pay attention to his theory. The text will review Liyu's thought, art and cause of formation of the structure generally from his theory, creation, stage effect, literature and philosophy.Liyu established the principle that the purpose is "come on stage", the core is "control center", the motivation is "innovation", and the request is "the combining of pin and string" and "focusing on the feeling of drama". In the direction of the principle, Liyu created the unique structure of drama. The structure established the mode that its soul is "odd meaning", its hinge is "one character, one accident", its expression is "odd story", "odd love", its characters get in touch with each other as net, its clues narrate intersect mutually, and its scene is multicolored.
