Pioneer Novel "personal" Construction

By analyzing the relation between Individuality and avant-garde novels in China during 80-90's last century, this thesis described the role that avant-garde novels and studies of them played in constructing Individuality .The writers' experiences of early days are important parts in the text of their novels :memories of childhood showing the initial self-awareness of those writers; the experience of growing-up giving them directly the opinion on relation between Selves and Others. Avant-garde novels drew people's attention by emphasizing techniques of writing in 80's ,and this was an important part and a logic result of a movement starting in 80's,it's also a reflection of the trend of thought. Thus there are new understanding of self and the world under the conception of formalism, Form and Content collocated one another, so did Form and Self. Individuals may be liberated and free only when the exterior factors from politics and society be removed, just as belles-lettres may be independent only when non-literature factors be excluded. When people explaining Avant-garde novels from modernistic point of view in 80's, they eliminated internality and animadvert which deeply existing in externality of self, and in 90's people cleared up the internality and animadvert when they accepted Selves. After that, post- modernistic Individual obtained its up most expression, but that is not a credible one and it may just be an individual illusions made up by post-modernists in China.
