Individual Construction Of The Myth

There was a fad of reading and studying Nietzsche in China after the middle 80's last century, while the reform and open-door policy were exercising in China. Nietzsche's thought and his characteristic have a significant effect in China. By this thesis we just want to discuss how Nietzsche's thought and works were spread and how his thought and works were accepted in Nietzsche finally we want to discover how all those affected the identification of individuals of people in China.Zhouguoping's explaining of Nietzsche and Liu xiaobo's Nietzscheish critique on Chinese traditional culture were taken as Examples. By these two examples we illustrated how Nietzsche's thought and works were spread and how his thought and works were accepted in contemporary China. Zhou guoping justified earthly and daily life, individual, desire and unconsciousness through explaining Nietzsche. Liu xiaobo went on after Zhou guoping and realized the transformations from attaching importance to society and others to individual and selves, from justifying ration and spirit to sensibility and material. All that were important in making an illusion of individual since 80's .Taken the film Honggaoliang as a case, we also analyzed Nietzsche's effect on writings and critiques of contemporary. By explaining Nietzsche's thought intellectuals redefined the conceptions such as human nature, and arts made these conceptions more nature and true, In addition, newlywed persons with this human nature were created by the effect of arts. These two aspects promoted each other and have provided resources for forming individual identities in contemporary China.
