Resources As A Self-identity Of Wang Shuo

Through observing and analyzing the hot discussion on Wangshuo and his writings ,we have discovered a course which reflected how people constructed a mass-understood figure of Wangshuo : from criticizing Wangshuo's works as scampish-literature to admitting that it reflected the reality, people established a true /false proposition. From their point of view, the principles which are in accord with humanity are true and the principles which are not in accord with humanity are false. As people employing the proposition in different areas, more deferent principles were thought as false ones. But the criterion is much the same ,that is critical attitude to evolutional culture and idealism contained in traditional socialism culture since The May Fourth Movement . As a result, there is a description of a living model which are considered more natural and people are hope for it. At the same time it presented kind of identities of individualism: banishing ideality ,spirit and meaning ;unburdening the duty to others and society; releasing desires for material; vulgar welfare being the most important goal for individual. But by analyzing certain works written by Wangshuo,we find there are many experiences that can not be brought in the mass-understood figure. Those experiences may be expressed as Wangshuo's reluctance to leave socialist period, which also show Wangshuo's critical attitude to a new direction in society development. Thus we can see how the dominant patterns of thought since 80's eliminated the experiences of socialist and why those experiences could not be the resource in identifying. By all that ,we can have a more clear-headed and more self-conscious understanding of identifying, and we can find certain kind of different perspective to discuss or think the latent problems in society development .
