Study Of Artistic Truth

Does art imply Truth? Generally,the traditional aesthetics's answer is no.Heidegger rectifies the above answer with his existential conception and the conception of unconcealed Truth. In Heidegger's view, Truth is brightness, is dispute between the visible and the invisible and Truth places itself in the element of art. Art Truth originates in the process of creation. Art Truth' inherent quality is dispute between welt and erde .It focuses on the things happening in a work, and follows them. It changes itself by them and insists on it. Art Truth keeps itself by this way. Art Truth has the effect and value to establish original history. As a successor, Gadamer explains how Art Truth is understood during the development of history. Thus he puts the question in the trends in history and then develops its historical dimension. Gadamer clears away obstacles of understanding Art Truth by three concepts: game, emblem, and festival. He points out that in view of the individual, Art Truth is horizontverschmelzung, while in view of history is wirkungsgeschichte.The thesis not only reviews the theories of Heidegger and Gadamer but also analyses Art Truth in many aspects. The thesis places their theories into the logical construction and after expounding the element of Art Truth ,studies how to undersand the question in its origin, preservation and historic inheritance and tries to study this question completely.
